Starting January 2026, Curry Health Center鈥檚 medical clinic will begin accepting health insurance for services.聽
The Montana University System requires all students to carry health insurance. This change makes it easier for you to use your coverage directly at CHC, while continuing to receive the same trusted care on campus.
Why this change benefits students:
Let’s you use your insurance benefits directly at CHC, potentially lowering your out-of-pocket costs and eliminating the need for you to request a walk-out statement to send to insurance. Please note walk-out statements will still be available on request.
Here’s what to expect:
- You will continue to pay the mandatory health service fee, included in your semester registration, which ensures access to CHC’s broad range of health and free wellbeing resources.
- For medical clinic services, you’ll need active health insurance coverage. If your plan is not contracted with CHC, you may still receive care by paying out of pocket.
- Students will be asked to provide insurance information before receiving care. More details on how to do this will be shared before January 2026.
