Connect Regroup Mobile to UM Alerts
Step 1 - Download the Regroup app for Android/iOS
Visit your device’s app store and search for “Regroup Mobile.”
Download and install the app.
Note: If you are using a UM‑owned device, you may need to for assistance installing the app.
Step 2 - Open the Regroup Mobile App
Launch the app. You should be greeted by the Regroup login screen.
Step 3 - Login to Regroup
Ensure the Country dropdown is set to USA.
In the login fields:
- If you have a NetID:
Use your firstname.lastname@umontana.edu address. - If you signed up manually:
Use the email address you provided during registration.
Network
Enter: UMT
If this is your personal device (not shared), you may check “Remember me.”
Then tap Next.
Step 4 - Select login method
If you are using a NetID:
Tap Login Using SSO
If you created a manual account:
Enter the password you set when creating your Regroup account, then tap Login.
Step 5 - NetID authentication
(Does not apply to manual login users)
Enter your NetID and password, then approve your DUO authentication prompt if requested.
Step 6 - You are now logged in to Regroup Mobile!
You are now connected to UM Alerts in the Regroup Mobile App.
You will see:
- Messages previously sent to your account
- All new alerts delivered directly through the app going forward
