Counseling Services Fees & Policies
Individual Sessions
First session of the academic year (Initial Consultation or Urgent Appointment): Free
Subsequent sessions: $20 per session
Session limit: Up to 6 per semester
Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP): Covers the $20 fee for individual sessions
Billing: All fees are charged to the Patient Portal, after 30 days they will move to your Student Account in Griz Portal
Important: Curry Health Center Counseling Services is not a provider for Medicaid, Medicare, or TriCare. These insurance plans will not cover services.
Returning clients are encouraged to call 406-243-4712 to schedule appointments. Even when online availability looks limited, we may still be able to fit you in, it’s always worth giving us a call.

Cost: Free for all students
Semester-Specific Information
Fall & Spring Semester (for currently enrolled students)
- First attended session: Free
- Subsequent individual sessions: $20
- Group sessions and seminars: Free
Summer Semester
- Enrolled in summer classes and paid health fee: $20 per session
- Not enrolled but were enrolled in prior Spring semester: $40 per session
Cancellations & No-Shows
Please attend your scheduled appointment. Missed appointments prevent other students from accessing timely services.
No-show fee: $20, applies even to the Initial Consultation
Cancellation policy: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance via the or by calling Counseling Services at 406-243-4712. Leave a message if calling after hours.
Behavioral Health Options Fees
Phase 1: Alcohol Skills Training Seminar & online quiz – $100
Phase 2: Brief Alcohol Screening & Intervention – $150
Phase 3: Outpatient Treatment – $200
