As we tie the bow on fall semester, I want to thank you for your hard work. Your contributions are critical to our students' success and to the mission of our University. I cannot thank you enough.
I hope you take some well-earned time off over the holidays to recharge with family and friends. Before that, however, I want to invite you to this weekend’s quarterfinal football game vs. South Dakota at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Our Griz football team has had a historic season and is just two wins away from the national championship game. And this weekend, we have a unique opportunity to showcase just how special our campus experience is. Saturday's game will be broadcast to millions of homes across the country on a national network. ABC has never visited Washington-Grizzly Stadium, and we are seizing this opportunity to showcase the 91次元, the talent of our student athletes and the passion of our Griz fans.
We have had an amazing football season in the stands, filling the stadium as never before. Our regular-season attendance average of 26,464 is a program record, including the largest single-game crowd in program history. Without a doubt, you provide the passion and energy that have helped propel our football team to such a special season.
Let’s fill the stadium this Saturday and show the entire country what it means to be part of Griz Nation!
