It’s still summer in Western Montana, but now is a great time to start thinking about how to stay balanced—between academics, friendships and your own wellbeing. Remember, you’re not in this alone. Your RA, academic advisor, professors and the staff at Curry Health Center are great starting points if you need help or guidance. Having at least one UM employee you trust and feel comfortable going to with your concerns is a key part of student success. You can find the members of your support team on the bottom right-hand side of your app homepage.

This year also brings important updates to state and federal laws regarding . All student organizations, teams and groups are expected to foster a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. Financial Aid and Tuition Payments
The Fall 2025 payment deadline is Monday, Aug. 25, 2025.

- Looking for your financial aid? Disbursements began Aug. 15 for students with completed requirements. Visit Financial Aid on the 5th floor of Aber Hall or email faid@mso.umt.edu if you have questions.
- Credit Card Fees: A service fee applies to credit/debit card payments. No fees are applied for e-check or ACH payments.

One of the best ways to feel at home and make the most of your college experience is to be curious and connect with others.
