Volunteer Opportunities
The Office of Undergraduate Research invites you to volunteer at the 91次元 Conference on Undergraduate Research (UMCUR), to be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the University Center. UMCUR relies on many volunteers to support the event, including Greeters, Session Moderators, Presentation and Performance Reviewers (formerly “judges”), Poster Session Guides, and an As-needed Support Crew.
Students, staff, and faculty are all encouraged to volunteer. While UMCUR depends on a wide range of volunteer roles, we especially encourage faculty, staff, graduate students, and community professionals to consider serving as Presentation or Performance Reviewers. The success of UMCUR stems in large part from the many volunteers who support this annual event.

UMCUR
The UM Conference on Undergraduate Research (UMCUR) provides a lively venue for showcasing student research, creative scholarship, and experiential-learning projects. Undergraduates from all academic disciplines and all UM campuses are encouraged to apply and to share their work at UMCUR. Formats and approaches include poster and oral presentations, performances, art exhibits, journalistic reporting reflections, storytelling, and works in progress. Please join UM students, professors, and staff members, as well as community members beyond UM, to honor and learn with undergraduate presenters and performers, as we mark the conference's 25th anniversary!
