For Montana Students in the Middle
The Payne Family Impact Scholarship is a scholarship fund for Montana students who demonstrate significant financial need, particularly those who fall outside the Federal Pell Grant eligibility. Terry Payne, UM alumnus, created this scholarship opportunity through a generous donation.
Apply for the Payne Family Impact Scholarship

Payne Family Impact Scholarship funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, so early admissions application and FAFSA submission is recommended.
Student Financial Services will begin awarding these scholarships on Dec. 1 for the upcoming fall semester, and recipients will be notified via mail.
