Crane Scheduled For Parts Delivery - 01/28/2026

A crane is scheduled to be delivering parts to Mansfield library Tuesday January 28 from approximately 8am - 11am. The crane will block both lanes of the road that is between Mansfield Library and the parking garage. Personnel will be holding traffic periodically for safety.

SIHI EXPANSION PROJECT @ BIO RESEARCH BUILDING

Construction Update:

  • On Friday 10/31 the General Contractor will construct additional safety fencing in the current contractor parking, service vehicle spaces, along with a few additional parking spaces, in-between Health Sciences and Elrod buildings.
  • On Monday 11/3 a crane will set up inside that safety fence and begin loading steel onto the Bio Research Building.
  • The structural steel placement and assembly will continue until 12/12.
  • Access to the adjacent sidewalks, and entrance into the Health Sciences building will remain accessible.
