Students must submit a semester request through the ODE portal, ensure their accommodation letters are sent to instructors, and follow up to confirm testing accommodations. Instructors may not be aware of your testing accommodations unless you notify them. Read more about the steps to request accommodations.

Students must submit a semester request through the ODE portal, ensure accommodation letters are sent to instructors, and follow up to confirm testing accommodations. This allows instructors to apply accommodations for online exams on platforms like Canvas.
Students do not need to take online exams at the ODE Testing Center unless they require a reader, scribe, or proctor. In those cases, exams must be scheduled in advance with the ODE Testing Center.

The ODE Testing Center requires your instructor's verification that the exam date has changed.
If it is 5 days in advance, cancel your old exam booking and submit a new one for the new exam date through Accommodate. If it is less than 5 days in advance, you or your instructor must email the ODE Testing Center with the new date.

To ask questions during an exam at the ODE Testing Center, arrange this with your instructor in advance. Confirm the best way to contact the instructor during the exam.

Your instructor must approve any exam rescheduling. The ODE portal only displays available testing slots 5 days in advance. If you need to reschedule sooner, email the ODE Testing Center and include your instructor in the message.

ODE does not provide testing accommodations for non-disability-related reasons. It is up to the instructors' discretion on whether to grant extended test time or other test accommodations to English language learners. Additionally, instructors are responsible for the administration of any exams they wish to extend or accommodate for English language learners.
