Managing Employee Database Profiles
There are two things to take into consideration when trying to access the employee database. Do you have Faculty, Staff or Grad Student access, or do you have Administration access? These next few pages will go over the privileges associated with both.
Faculty, Staff and Grad Students profiles
UM faculty, staff and graduate students are added to the Employee Database (NetID required) so they can be included on people lists on UM websites.
Undergraduate students are added to the database only if included on a staff list for a UM unit or office.
Administrative Users
Administrative users can update their own profiles as well as add people to departments or schools, adjust types and tags and more.
