Self-Paced Class A ELDT
Online Only
This is a computer-based ELDT course offered to drivers who are looking to upgrade an existing Class B CDL to a Class A CDL. With 24/7 access drivers can satisfy federal regulations through quality, cost effective, online training on their own schedule.
What are ELDT courses & why do drivers need them?
As of February 7th, 2022, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) now requires entry-level Class A CDL drivers to complete required training from a registered training provider (TPR) before obtaining a CDL or specified endorsement for the first time. The Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) course meet requirements and test results are certified with the FMCSA.
The ELDT courses support those:
- Obtaining a Class A CDL for the first time
- Upgrading to a Class A CDL
- Seeking a Hazardous Materials endorsement (H)
We do not currently offer endorsements for School Bus (S) or Passenger (P).
