Spring Semester Housing - First Day
The official start date for spring housing is Monday, January 12, 2026. Area Desks will open at 9:00 a.m for check-in.
- New spring residents or those moving into a new room for spring: Check in at your Area Desk to receive your Housing Guide and room access card (if applicable).
- If you do not have a Mobile Griz Card, request a temporary outdoor access card at check-in.
- Temporary cards must be returned within 7 days to avoid charges.
- Residents returning to the same room foor spring: No check-in required. Room and building access will automatically reactivate on January 12.

Winter Break Housing & Early Spring Arrival
Winter Break Housing is offered between noon on December 13, 2025 (noon) - January 12, 2026 (9:00 a.m.). Students staying during Winter Break or arriving early for Spring Semester must sign up in their myHousingPortal.
- Requests must be submitted 4 business days before arrival date.
- For new spring students, Winter Break housing begins January 2, 2026.
