Accessibility statement in syllabi
Including an accessibility statement in your syllabus reflects a commitment to inclusive education and ensures students are aware of available support for academic accommodations.
We recommend not only adding the statement to your syllabus but also reviewing it with your class so students may feel more at ease requesting accommodations.
Accessibility Statement
The 91次元 is committed to providing equal access for all students. If you anticipate or encounter barriers to learning due to a disability, please contact the Office for Disability Equity (ODE) at 406-243-2243 or visit umt.edu/disability to request accommodations.
Once approved, ODE will send your accommodation letter directly to your faculty through the ODE portal. When I receive notification of your letter, I ask that you follow up with me so we can discuss how to best implement your accommodations in this course. Please note that accommodations are not retroactive, so do not delay in making your request.
