Griz Tennis Club

The Griz Tennis Club is for any UM student that wants to continue to play or learn to play tennis while in school. The team competes in matches against other schools, or if you are just looking for people to play with that is fine too.
Practices are held at the Peak Tennis Facility on Friday evenings, a 5 court indoor tennis center, from 8:30-10 pm Starting October 3rd. Cost is $10 per person/per night.

Scott Potter - Coach
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Scott moved to Bozeman to play collegiate tennis for MSU where he earned 1st Team All-Big Sky in 1993. He was the Head Tennis Pro at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman for 15 years and the Director of Junior Tennis at the Bobcat Tennis Center for 5 years. He was named 2010 Intermountain Professional of the Year. In 2004, he was the captain of the National USTA 5.0 finalist team from Montana. USPTA Elite Pro Certified.
Now Scott has moved over to the good side of the divide and is heavily involved with youth and high school tennis in Missoula. Scott's passion for tennis lead to him becoming the face of the Griz Tennis Club where he plans on helping students compete at a national level representing the Griz and getting new students into the game.
