Program Overview:
The Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares professionals to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Students will become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, anatomy and physiology, blood collection procedures, specimen hands-on practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. Course Dates: Fall & Spring Cohorts
Fall cohort will begin mid to late September
Spring cohort will begin late February to early March
Classroom Instruction (90 instructional hours)
6:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Tuesday & Thursday
9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, (3) Saturday
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam

Program Cost
$2,260 per participant due 1 weeks prior to class start date
Cost includes tuition, textbook, workbook & handouts, laboratory materials, and Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam fee.
Student is required to bring a steno notebook, pen, pencil, highlighter, scrubs, and a watch with a second hand.
Refund Policy: 100% course refund before payment due date; 75% refund between payment date and course start date; no refund after course start date

18 years of age or over
Must have a high school diploma from an accredited high school, high school equivalency diploma (GED or HiSET), OR qualifying Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) scores
