Non-credit Workforce Training
Program Overview
This program trains students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the medical office. Instruction includes skills and knowledge in front office administrative, clinical, and limited laboratory procedures that are designed to assist healthcare practitioners in administering to the needs of patients. Physicians appreciate the versatility of medical assistants and their role as vital partners in ambulatory/clinical settings.

Course Date: Fall & Spring Cohorts
Fall cohort will begin mid to late September
Spring cohort will begin late February to early March
Classroom Instruction (140 instructional hours)
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday & Wednesday
- Saturday's (time TBD)
- BLS/CPR Training
- Skills Labs
- Clinical Rotations (*potential flexibility based on your schedule)
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Exam
- TBD, Fall December
- TBD, Spring June
Clinical Rotations (~40 hours)
- Scheduled through our health science program coordinator following successful completion of CCMA exam
- Rotation may require additional vaccinations, drug testing, and physician statement of health

Program Cost
$3,685 per participant due 1 weeks prior to class start date
Cost includes tuition, e-book, workbook & handouts, laboratory materials, BLS/CPR training fee, and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam fee.

Must have a high school diploma from an accredited high school or a high school equivalency diploma (GED or HiSET)
