Callie Rommel
Major: Parks, Tourism, Recreation Management
Minor: Wilderness Studies
Hello! I am Callie Rommel, from Toms River, New Jersey! I am currently 19 years old and have a major in Parks, Tourism, Recreation Management with a focus in Sustainability and Conservation, and a minor in Wilderness Civilization Studies! My dream is to one day be a National Park Ranger. I am in the Grizzly Marching Band as a piccolo player.
A fun fact about me is that I have 4 tattoos (hopefully more to come), am a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and I have 2 dogs back home - Lucy, a bichon shih tzu mix, and Lexie, a rescue, bichon mix. I enjoy hiking, road trips, hanging out with my friends, and going to coffee shops downtown! If you ever see me in TRiO or around campus, don't be afraid to stop and say hi! I love learning new things and getting to know new people!
Zoe Barrett
Major: Social Work
Hi my name is Zoe and I'm a sophomore majoring in social work. Some of my hobbies are crocheting, reading, and skiing. I love animals and I have two dogs back home.
Alyssa Mendez
Major: Social Work
My name is Alyssa Mendez. I am 23 years old and in my 4th year majoring in Social Work here at the 91次元 (U of M) while studying to earn my Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) certification. I grew up in Helena, MT and moved here in Missoula in the fall of 2021. Once we as students make that choice to go to college and take that step onto the concrete of campus, some of us have a mental plan on what we want to do while others don’t. Whether we have a plan or not, little what we know is that we are still learning to adjust into the real world. Students are studying to do well in school while working to provide and take care of themselves. We as humans are constantly learning and adapting to challenges around us, especially in college or a university. That is okay though because it reminds us we are not perfect and will constantly work on ourselves, including myself.
Fun Facts about me! I now live here with my fiance of seven years and our furbaby Oliver, who we adopted the day before Halloween, or in this case, Hallow’s Eve. I am the middle child out of 5 of my siblings and the second child to go to college in our family.

Kat Sutter
Major: Psychology
Hi, My Names Kat! I am a third-year psychology major, concentrating in behavior therapy from a holistic perspective. As a wellness coach I try to combine academic knowledge with lived experience to support my peers. I am someone who understands the challenges of being a non-traditional student, from everyday life to the added stress of campus life, sometimes there is not enough water in your glass, and that's ok, you're only human. I like to think of myself as an "indoor plant" curled up with a hot cup of tea and book for some quiet time.
