Accessibility on UDASH
Ramps
All UDASH buses are equipped with at least one ramp to assist passengers with mobility aids or limited mobility. If you would like to use the ramp during the boarding or alighting process, please let the driver know.
Kneeling
All UDASH buses kneel, which brings the floor of the bus lower to the ground for easier boarding or alighting. If you would like the bus to kneel, please let the driver know.
Automatic Stop Announcements
All UDASH buses are equipped with technology that automatically announces the locations of major stops and intersections. The announcements allow passengers to orient themselves throughout the route. You may ask the operator to announce when the bus is approaching your stop.
Priority Seating
Priority seating is located near the front of the bus for seniors or passengers with disabilities. If the priority seating is full and you need to sit at the front of the bus, please tell the driver. The driver will ask riders in that area if they are willing to move to a different seat, but the driver cannot require passengers to move.
