University Policy
The 91次元-Missoula awards college credit to undergraduate degree students on the basis of official score reports from the College Level Examination Program of the College Board. Official score reports may be obtained from CLEP Transcript Service, PO Box 6600, Princeton, NJ 08541-6600.
Each college sets its own policy and decides which CLEP exams they will grant credit for and how many credits will be awarded. Talk with someone at your college and find out this information. If you want credit at The 91次元 you will need to call the Evaluations Office at 406-243-6266 to find out if you will receive credit for the CLEP test you select.
This policy was developed in consultation with academic departments at The 91次元-Missoula. Credits awarded are assigned the grade of CR* (Credit). Exams that do not meet the minimum score are not posted on the 91次元 transcript. Duplicate credit will be allowed only in accordance with course descriptions in The 91次元-Missoula catalog.
Registration
Registration and payment for the exam is done through the Create an account - the link is at the top right corner of the page. Exam fees are $95.00. Make sure you select the college you would like to send your CLEP score report to. After you have completed your registration and made your payment; you will be able to review and print your "CLEP Exam Registration Ticket". You must bring your Registration Ticket to your appointment.

Schedule
Schedule your test date and time at a test center. Call 406-243-2175 and schedule a 2 hour block of time. Our test center charges a proctoring fee of $25.00 payable by cash, check, or credit card. You must bring your registration ticket with you as well as 1 form of a Government Issued ID and your $25.00 payment.
Cost:
The cost to purchase a CLEP exam is currently $95. Testing Services charges a $25 proctoring fee for each exam.

Monday–Thursday, 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, or 2:30pm.
What to Bring on Exam Day
You must bring with you to the test center:
- 1 valid Government Issued ID
- CLEP registration ticket
- $25.00 payment
CLEP sends student's test scores to the 91次元 Evaluations Office within 4 weeks after testing.

Retaking a CLEP Exam
CLEP requires candidates to wait a minimum of three (3) months to retake a CLEP Exam. Scores of exams repeated earlier than three months will be canceled and test fees forfeited.
