Staff Senate Scholarship
Each Spring, the 91次元 Staff Senate awards scholarships to UM staff members or their eligible dependents. The portal for the 2026-2027 scholarships is now available!
This scholarship is made possible by various UM donors, and we thank them immensely for investing in students.
Eligibility Requirements
Staff Senate scholarships are open to eligible incoming first-year or transfer students, continuing students, and graduate students. Previous recipients are eligible to apply.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be either:
- a staff member at UM enrolled in any number of credits at the Mountain Campus, Bitterroot College, or any Missoula College; or
- a dependent of a current UM staff member, enrolled as a full time student (12 or more credits per semester for undergraduates, 9 or more credits per semester for graduates) at the Mountain Campus, Bitterroot College, or any Missoula College.
Selection Criteria
The Scholarship Committee selects the recipients from qualified applications based on campus and/or community involvement and academic achievements, so be sure to highlight that information in your application. The Committee will review the applicant's academic record (GPA and coursework) and a submitted personal statement.
