Volunteer at spectrUM
spectrUM is powered by the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to bring their unique skills, perspectives, and curiosity. Whether you have a lot of experience in science or simply a passion for discovery, there are many ways to get involved. Volunteers may interact with museum visitors or contribute behind the scenes to help keep exhibits and programs running smoothly. No matter your interests, there’s a place for you to make an impact.
Become a STEAM Role Model
As a STEAM Role Model at spectrUM, you’ll have the opportunity to share your career story with students and take part in a fun, hands-on activity. We’ll work with you to find an activity that fits your interests and expertise. With just an hour or two of your time, you can engage with dozens of children and families, sparking their curiosity and sharing your passion. We know that students learn best when they see themselves reflected in the people they learn from. These connections encourage students to take chances, stay engaged in learning, and imagine themselves in future careers or leadership roles.
