EARLY CHILDHOOD
- Curriculum and Instruction majors seeking an elementary teaching certificate and who desire Montana’s Permissive Special Competency in Early Childhood Education should take the following courses as part of the HFD minor: PSYX 230S, HFD 494, C&I 367 (6 credits: 3 credits of work in K-3 public schools plus 3 credits in the UM LAB Preschool- substitutes for HFD 498), COMM 411 or SOCI 333 or HFD 412, PSYX 120 or PSYX 320 or C&I 520, C&I 330, C&I 355, C&I 410.
