NEOED Onboard
What is it?
Onboard complements additional enhancements to the hiring of new employees. Onboard is the bridge between Recruit and the additional tools of Learn and Perform. Onboard provides a self-service portal for new employees to learn about UM and to complete hiring paperwork electronically, ensuring employees are ready to hit the ground running on day one. Onboard features functions of the entire employee workflow, offering solutions for the preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding phases of the employee lifecycle.
Onboard connects with Learn by including all mandatory trainings required for new employees. Trainings will be automatically assigned to the new employees and tracked in the Learn system.
UM is currently working with NEOED on a Banner/NeoEd integration to capture new hire information in real time and reduce data entry, which will drastically reduce the time for a new employee to be recognized as an employee in UM’s systems.
