Performance Funding
The Montana University System (MUS) has completed the process to develop an allocation methodology for performance funding. Through an agreement between the Governor, Legislature, and Commissioner, MUS has agreed to distribute a portion of its state appropriations to the MUS campuses based on performance in a key set of metrics, rather than simply enrollment.
