Scholarships for Honors Students
Honors students have three different paths for scholarships within the DHC. (1) Incoming honors students may be considered for incoming student scholarships through their DHC application if received by December 1 Only first-time freshmen will be considered for these scholarships. (2) Honors students are invited to apply for our annual honors scholarships in October and March. Most of our scholarships are supplemental to support an aspect of the student experience (think: your flight to your study abroad, supplemental funding for an internship, supplies for research, etc.) (3) The DHC is also home to the Office of External Scholarships and Fellowships, which provides support for the application processes for nationally and internationally competitive scholarships. These scholarships include the Rhodes, Truman, Fulbright, Udall, Goldwater, Gilman scholarships, and more.
Honors students should also complete the general application in the UM Scholarship Portal to be considered for departmental scholarships.
