This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Criteria for Successful Completion: Contact hours awarded based on sessions attended and completion/submission of evaluation form.
There are no relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies for those with the ability to control the content of this activity.

Credit Information
The 2025 Great Beginnings, Great Families Conference has continuing education to the following entities:
Montana State Board of Behavioral Health
- The board updated its continuing education rules for all license types. Those changes are effective as of 3/30/19. See MAR 24-219-32 on the Rules Notices page for more information.
- The number of CE hours required for each license type have not changed.
- However, the board no longer pre-approves any courses or sponsors. Each licensee is responsible for taking courses which directly relate to the scopes of practice as defined in board statute.
- Licensees are responsible for selecting quality programs that contribute to their knowledge and competence.
- Licensees must maintain documentation of completed CE for three years which shows: licensee name; course title and content description; presenter or sponsor; course date(s); and number of CE hours earned.
- Licensees only need to submit the above documentation as proof of CE if they are selected for a random CE audit. Licensees will be notified if they are selected for a random CE audit.
Montana Office of Publics Instruction (OPI) Renewal Units
- The Pediatric Mental Health Symposium is eligible for 14 OPI Renewal Units. Certificates can be requested at the registration desk following the conference. Attendance verification and post-conference reporting will be submitted following the symposium.
Montana Nurses Association (MNA)
- This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity was approved for 14 total contact hours.
Early Childhood Project Training House
- Early Care and Education (ECP) is approved.Please contact Marjorie Vegoren (marjorie.vegoren@mt.gov) for submitting for ECP credits. You must ensure your ECP ID # is listed within your registration (https://www.xcdsystem.com/gbgf/attendee/index.cfm?ID=DRlOU9A). See the registration desk with assistance and questions.
Evaluations
Links to the survey for EACH day will be published near the ending of the conference day. Once you complete the entire evaluation survey, you will be emailed your certificate.
