After graduating from Brevard College, Abi pursued a career as a summer camp director before returning to school to study experiential education. While earning her M.S., Abi completed a thesis focused on the career impact of graduating from an undergraduate outdoor academic program. These days, Abi is fascinated by recreation allocation systems, social scripts surrounding outdoor adventure, and the rise of the e-bike. When she needs a break from school, Abi can be found reading, playing soccer, or riding bikes.
