Intercultural Lab
The Intercultural Lab (IL) is is a new initiative out of International Students and Scholars. The primary goal is to bring students together in a casual and creative space to engage in culturally-themed activities which provide opportunities to use and strengthen intercultural competence. This initiative is an invitation to all international students and scholars and UM's campus community to showcase their unique culture and share it with the community.
Sessions take place at the International House unless otherwise noted.

9/24 "A Night in North Africa" featuring a presentation on the region, Moroccan tea ceremony, Arabic calligraphy, and a tasting of dishes from the region.
10/22 Japanese Night featuring tasting of Japanese curry, tea and sweets, along with the opportunity to try on traditional kimonos and to learn about Japanese culture and language.
