2026 UW–NPS Small Grants Program
The UW–NPS Research Station is now accepting proposals for its 2026 Small Grants Program, supporting research conducted in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, including Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Eligible applicants include researchers from U.S. universities, government agencies, and NGOs. Graduate-student–centered projects are especially encouraged.

Postdoctoral Research Associate — Hummingbird Evolution & Population Genomics
The Williamson Lab at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a postdoctoral position in evolutionary genomics, eco-physiology, and bioinformatics focused on mountain hummingbirds. The two-year, NSF-funded appointment includes genomic and transcriptomic analyses, field and lab work, publication leadership, and opportunities for independent research and mentoring. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required. Location: Laramie, Wyoming.

USDA-ARS Foreign Arthropod-Borne Animal Diseases Research Unit Fellowship
This full-time research fellowship with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service is based at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Participants will contribute to molecular and vector-biology research on arthropod-borne livestock diseases, gaining experience with advanced molecular tools and high-containment protocols. A doctoral degree and at least two years of experience are required; U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents only.
