Disabling Your Assets from being Published

Disabling publishing of an asset will prevent Cascade from publishing any changes made to the asset. By default, all assets are set to be publishable.

How to Disable Publishing

  1. Select the asset that will have publishing disabled.
  2. 颁濒颈肠办听贰诲颈迟听in the action bar, or聽right-click聽on the asset and choose聽Edit.
  3. Click the聽Configure听迟补产聽for a page or the聽Properties tab聽for a folder.
  4. 鲍苍肠丑别肠办听Include when indexing聽补苍诲听Include when publishing.听
  5. Check Content & Submit.

Note: If a folder's ability to publish is disabled following the steps above, all assets contained within the folder will also be set to be excluded from publishing.听

To re-enable publishing, follow the steps above but check the options in step 4.

Disabled Publishing Error Message

The following error message will display when you attempt to publish an asset that has had its publishing disabled:
