Versions

Cascade maintains a history of all submitted changes made to an asset and records each as a version. Only the last 25 versions of an asset are stored. Versions can be previewed, restored, deleted, or compared to the current version.

Manage Versions

1. Select the page from the asset tree. 

2. Click … More > Versions or right-click on page > Versions.

3. Under the Past Versions header, click a version to preview. The page will display in the workspace.

4. When viewing a version, click … More for additional actions:
    

   1. Restore this version sets the version being viewed as the current version.

   2. Delete this version removes the version from the history.  

   3. Compare with current displays differences between current and selected version.

   4. View current version shows the current version.

   5. View newer version displays the next version saved in the history.

   6. View older version displays the previous version in the history.

Compare with Current Version

When a previous version is being compared to the current version, both versions will be rendered and the differences between the two will be highlighted with the following rules:

• Pink with a strikethrough indicates text that has been removed.
• Green indicates text that has been added.
• Purple indicates changes and updates to markup (i.e. change from bold to italic).
