Who We Are
We are a small team of researchers and academics with experience in a wide variety of field, lab, statistical, and interpretive methods. Our staff regularly includes undergraduate interns, graduate research associates, and seasonal technicians hired each year to assist with our projects. In addition, we partner with state and federal agencies and organizations to have a wider impact with our work.
We prioritize engagement through the 91次元.
As part of the UM ecosystem, we have the privilege of sharing opportunities for hands-on research with practical impacts on conservation across Montana and beyond. We participate through classroom visits, scientific talks, and mentorship of both graduate and undergraduate students. Student interns and research associates work with long-term datasets, hone field methods, build relationships with state, federal, and private partners, and contribute to the ecological literature. We take care and joy in our role as a launching pad for the next generation of ecologists.
