Amy Beth Dettori, MD
Dr. Amy Dettori is an Attending Pediatric Pulmonologist at Seattle Childrens’ Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Her primary interests are general cystic fibrosis care, CF newborn screening, and CF quality improvement. She serves at the Associate CF Center Director at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Dettori also has a strong interest in medical education and works in various roles with medical students, pediatric residents, and pediatric pulmonary fellows.
Kim Bennion, MsH S, RRT, CHC, FAARC
Kim has worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for over 47 years in adult, pediatric and newborn intensive care and as a certified Health Care Senior Compliance Consultant for fourteen years. She is currently leading Intermountain Health’s Respiratory Care clinical research studies, has co-authored a recently published manuscript, and is leading a study utilizing remote patient monitoring on an artificial intelligence platform for adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma. She has authored/co-authored over eighty abstract publications. She was awarded both the Charles W. Serby COPD Research Fellowship and the Dr. Paul A. Selecky MD Board of Medical Associates Research Award by the American Respiratory Care Foundation. She is heavily involved in national and state health care legislation and was the lead in the passing of Utah’s 2018 SCR004 which raised the awareness of the need for post-operative, home monitoring of high-risk patients receiving opioids for pain. She is currently serving as the Utah Tobacco Free Alliance Board Chair after recently completing her eight-year role as the Board Chair of Utah’s Division of Professional Licensing, the AARC’s Board of Directors, and as the Chair of the Leadership and Management Section. Kim continues to serve on several strategic planning committees for the AARC and was named a Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care in 2022.
Brennan T. Dodson, MD
After being raised in the flatlands of northeastern Oklahoma, Brennan went west to seek adventures which involved more topographic relief. His collegiate education from Colorado College focused on biological anthropology with a pre-med emphasis. After returning to the flatland for medical school, Brennan again went west for ENT residency at the Univ. of Colorado-Health Sciences Center. Brennan met his wife, Courtney, during residency- they had their first of two children immediately after moving to Bozeman and starting Bridger ENT in July 2006. Brennan is happy to maintain Bridger ENT as a solo, private, independent practice focusing on rhinologic and pediatric ENT. Brennan is the only ENT in Montana holding the FARS designation- a designation given by the American Rhinologic Society to ENTs demonstrating skill and academic commitment to rhinology. Brennan is committed to improving value and evidence-based ENT care as well as educating the next generation of doctors as the only clinical instructor in ENT for UW-WWAMI in SW Montana.
Matthew Morrell, MD
Matthew Morrell is a Professor of Medicine in the division of Respiratory, Critical Care and Occupational Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Utah. He has served as the Medical Director of the Lung Transplant Program at the University of Utah for 5 years; prior to this, he was the Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program at the University of Pittsburgh. He is active in multiple regional, national and international societies of pulmonary medicine and pulmonary transplantation. His career has focused on multiple scientific advancements in the field of lung transplantation and also on the education of future physicians in the field of lung transplantation.
Chris Migliaccio, PhD, PharmD
Christopher Migliaccio is a Research Associate Professor at The 91次元. He earned a Ph.D. in Immunology at the University of California, Davis in 2000 and a Pharm.D. at the 91次元 in 2016. At the 91次元, he received postdoctoral training in the Center for Environmental Health Sciences in Immunotoxicology under the guidance of Dr. Andrij Holian. His research focuses on the effects of environmental exposures on respiratory immunity and function. Current and past work has included exposures to wildfire smoke, nanomaterials, diesel exhaust particles, silica, and asbestos. Recent studies have included long-term effects in a community exposed to wildfire smoke and a mouse model of the event and the resulting immunotoxicity. Chris lives with his wife and dogs in their (now empty nest) home in the Bitterroot Valley and enjoys hiking and exploring Montana.
Elizabeth Williams, PhD, MPH, MSEd, CLC, CHES
Dr. Elizabeth Williams is an epidemiologist whose consulting practice, Williams Precision Consulting LLC, brings a detail-oriented lens to research, evaluation, and editing. Her work includes public health research translation, scientific communication, and copyediting across disciplines — from peer-reviewed articles to management textbooks to true crime novels. She completed her PhD in Public Health at the 91次元, focusing on fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and later served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Epidemiology Branch at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
Terry Miller, IBCLC, RLC
Terry Miller, IBCLC, RLC, is the Senior Breastfeeding Consultant with DPHHS Montana Nutrition & Physical Activity Program, working to promote and support best practices in breastfeeding/chestfeeding and infant nutrition across the state. Terry’s focus areas include Baby-Friendly/ Breastfeeding Champion Birth Centers, the Montana Rural Breastfeeding Initiative, Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite Initiative and the yearly Montana Breastfeeding Conference. As Lead for the Montana State Breastfeeding Coalition, Terry works to increase access to breastfeeding credentialing and has launched several popular initiatives including the MontanaBreastfeeds! Cut-Out Project to normalize breastfeeding.
Ashley Kamrath, APRN, FNP-C
Ashley Kamrath is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in allergy and asthma care. She is committed to enhancing patients’ lives through comprehensive, and evidence-based healthcare. A native Montanan from Seeley Lake, Ashley now lives in Missoula, where she owns and operates Allergy & Asthma Care, a private practice serving patients across western Montana. In addition to caring for the Missoula community, her clinic extends services to Bitterroot and Flathead Valley, providing specialized allergy and asthma care for both pediatric and adult patients.
With nearly a decade of healthcare experience, Ashley began her career as a registered nurse in labor and delivery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This early work gave her a strong clinical foundation, honing her ability to respond to acute medical situations and deepening her understanding of patients’ needs during vulnerable moments. Her transition into allergy and asthma care has allowed her to focus on a rapidly expanding field where she can make a meaningful, lasting impact on her patients’ health and quality of life.
Marcus Paske, PharmD
Marcus Paske is a Montana native and holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the 91次元 Skaggs School of Pharmacy, and is a BPS Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Specialist as well as Certified Asthma Educator. He currently works in Butte, MT for SCL Medical Group based in the primary care setting as an ambulatory clinical pharmacist performing chronic disease state management with emphasis on Asthma/COPD, Diabetes, Anticoagulation, and Hypertension in a team-based care model. He is a Clinical Faculty Affiliate with the 91次元 School of Pharmacy, and previously served for six years as an adjunct professor for Montana Technological University in Butte teaching Pharmacology to health professions students. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children outdoors camping, fishing, and skiing.
Ben Francisco
Dr. Francisco is a Research Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Medicine and Allergy in the Department of Child Health, the School of Medicine, University of Missouri, Columbia. He is director of Asthma Ready® Communities and principal investigator for several asthma improvement initiatives. He is a practicing pediatric nurse practitioner at MU Women’s & Children’s Hospital, University Physicians, Pediatric Specialty Clinics, Columbia. Dr. Francisco is principal author of IMPACT Asthma Kids©, an evidence-based multimedia educational program for school age children. His research activities include 1) analysis of administrative claims data to target and evaluate asthma interventions, 2) work force development to improve asthma care in schools, clinics, hospitals and community agencies, 3) assessment of airflow obstruction in childhood asthma and 4) improvement of children's inhalation technique.
Kristel Kishbaugh, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Kristel Kishbaugh, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a certificate in Interprofessional Geriatrics from Idaho State University in 2022. Kristel first worked for Western Montana Mental Health Clinic and then started her own practice in 2023 providing services to youth, adults, and older adults. Areas of focus include living with the mental health burden of chronic disease, trauma, suicide prevention and postvention, and community mental health in Jefferson County.
She has worked as an RN since 2007 in rural communities as well as larger metropolitan areas. Experiences working on medical/surgical/trauma floors, emergency departments, and family medicine led her to educational pursuits specializing in psychiatry. Kristel will be giving a presentation addressing the burden of living with chronic disease including assessment and treatment for the mental health burden, caregiver fatigue awareness, healthcare provider fatigue, and the role of palliative care.
Dewey Hahlbohm, PA
Dewey Hahlbohm has been a PA since 1978, most of that time in an allergy, asthma and immunology practice where he currently works. He has extensive experience in clinical research, evaluating new medications for treating allergy and asthma patients. He has volunteered at Montana’s Camp Huff n’ Puff for more than 20 years. He was involved in development of the Montana State Asthma Control Program and currently serves on the MT Asthma Advisory Group. He has been on the Board of Directors of the ALA of the Northern Rockies, the American Academy of PA’s in Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and currently serves on the boards of the Association of Asthma Educators and the Montana Veterans Foundation. He is a certified asthma educator.
