The importance of U.S. economic, political and cultural relations with Latin America makes knowledge of the region and its people an essential part of a modern education. Our faculty, internationally known for their research and experience abroad, will provide you with an opportunity to study and research the history, culture, lands, art, geography and institutions of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking nations of America. A minor from this program will prepare for you graduate study or for employment in a variety of fields including government, industry, health and education.
