Here is everything you need to know about parking and transportation to have a smooth and successful move-in on Monday, August 18. 

Residence Hall Unloading and Parking 

To familiarize yourself with the parking layout prior to arrival, view the and type in "Move-In Day 2025"!

Jesse, Turner, and Knowles Halls 

• Unloading: Lot J 
• Long-term Parking: Lots Z, P, M, Missoula College, and Dornblaser Field

Aber Hall 

• Unloading: Lot V1
• Long-term Parking: Lots Z, P, M, U, Missoula College, and Dornblaser Field

Miller and Pantzer Halls 

• Unloading: Lot I, Arthur Ave, and Lot H1 
• Long-term Parking: Lots Z, P, M, Missoula College, and Dornblaser Field

Craig, Elrod, and Duniway Halls 

• Unloading: Lot G 
• Long-term Parking: Lots P, Z, M, Missoula College, and Dornblaser Field

 

Parking Notes 

• Early Arrival Reminder: Parking in Lot J is prohibited until 7:00 p.m. on move-in day. 
• Parking in the University District neighborhood is prohibited without a valid City parking permit. 

Transportation 

The UDASH bus will provide service from 7:35 a.m. to 7:35 p.m. on move-in day to off-campus parking locations. Additional service will be available via Mountain Line's regular city bus routes.

• Maroon Line will circulate every 30 minutes and provide service to Dornblaser Field, Lewis & Clark Villages, Arthur Ave, Aber Hall (Campus Dr), and the Transit Hub.

• Silver Line will circulate every 15 minutes and provide service to Missoula College.

Wrap up your move-in day with a photo at the Griz Gateway to mark the beginning of your UM journey.
