Have you completed FERPA training?  If Yes, please continue with this form.  If No, please complete the training first, and then submit this form.

UM Staff and Faculty and Administrators need to complete the NEOED FERPA training available on the Required Training webpage.

  • When completed, download the certificate, save the certificate in OneDrive and create a share URL for the certificate to use for the FERPA Completion URL. 

Student workers are allowed under very limited situations in Navigate and after a meeting with OSS to discuss needs. If a special student worker role is created, the student needs to complete the FERPA training through the old FERPA system and submit a link for the completion certificate.

  • On the CITI completion page, there is a "Copy Link" button for both a completion report and a completion certificate. Please use the link for the completion certificate for the FERPA Completion URL below.
You must complete the FERPA training before submitting this form. See above for instructions.
In order to be able to get into some employee-restricted resources, you need to be using your employee NetID which ends in an "e" such as ab123456e.
