Dr. Ann Douglas (Blackfeet) will provide a lecture on Suicide Awareness Education on December 3rd, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM in the Payne Family Native American Center, Room 014. 

Dr. Ann Douglas is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montana. Dr. Douglas has spent her career providing mental health services in Indigenous communities in Montana. Currently she is the Director of Riverwalk Crisis Receiving Center located in Missoula, Montana, where she has implemented a trauma-informed, culturally relevant approach to care. Dr. Douglas is a strong and dedicated advocate for the Indigenous community. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
