Professor John Eglin Publishes New Book
Dr. John Eglin, a professor of British History within the Department, recently published James Boswell: The Journal of his Italian and French Travels, 1765–1766 with Edinburgh University Press. This volume is the first complete and unexpurgated edition of James Boswell’s account of his sojourn in Italy and France, accompanied with extensive annotations, appendices (including items not previously published) and other editorial material.
