History Hosts Dr. Rebecca Davis for Women's History Month

The History Department and the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program hosted Rebecca L. Davis, the Miller Family Endowed Early Career Professor of History at the University of Delaware and the author of a new book, Fierce Desires: A New History of Sex and Sexuality in America (Norton, 2024), for Women's History Month. In addition to participating in a Lockridge Workshop, Davis gave a public lecture on the history of Missoula's Blue Mountain Clinic, the target of a firebombing in 1993, and the conflicts over reproductive rights in recent America titled "Bodies in the Line: Abortion, Sex, and Freedom in the United States."
