Education Coordinator
Where did you attend college?
I completed my undergrad at Longwood University and am currently working on my Masters in Medical Education at the University of Cinicinatti.
What brought you to Montana?
I came to Montana with a little luck and a hope to find my place in higher education. I am grateful I got the oppurtunity to move across the country back in 2019 and find such a wonderful place to call home.
Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana?
The values of the program. I have only held a handful of jobs, but the values held by each and their ability to guide an organization have been the catalyst for why I have selected to pursue and maintain a place within in them. The FMRWM has a few unique values and without question they are fitting to their mission, being practiced and shown in every fiber of the residency.
What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?
I really enjoy getting outdoors with my dog, Aspen. I like to cook, play games with my friends, and more recently have been trying to get in the habit of doing small water color paintings.
What do you love about Western Montana?
I love the mountains, lakes, just the abundance and ease of access to the outdoors. Going back east to visit friends and family can now feel claustraphobic with how open it is here. I really enjoy the community of this area and am glad to be a part of it.
What’s your favorite book?
Embrace Fearlessly the Burning World: Essays by Barry Lopez. I think this should be on everyone's must read list.
