As colleges and universities face growing pressure to meet accessibility standards, this training equips you with the tools to create content that aligns with the latest Title II regulations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These rules require that state and local government websites—including online courses and digital content—be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

The Learning Experience and Design (LEAD) team offers workshops to help you to create accessible digital content in Canvas. In these workshops, you’ll gain an understanding of ADA compliance and learn practical strategies for designing accessible documents, videos, quizzes, and course pages, along with real-world examples of common challenges in Canvas and how to solve them. Whether you're new to accessibility or refining your approach, these sessions will help you build inclusive, legally compliant courses that serve all learners.
